Package Design: Caffeine Emporium

When it comes to a physical product or item, at some stage it will need to be packaged.

Whether you need a clean-release label on food and beverage packaging or packaging for new, top-of-the-line cosmetic products…

Client: Caffeine Emporium

Scope: Shrink-Film Package and Product Design Concept

After our success in working with this client on a previous project, they were discussing the idea of expanding their business beyond Coffees and Teas, looking into other types of caffeinated drinks; specifically energy drinks and soft drinks.

They wanted to approach investors with a presentation for a new style of in-house product, and needed an assortment of package designs to go with their “Balls of Energy” concept, in relation to the spherical bottle design. Three samples were submitted for a presentation.

Tek Solutions

Our client gave three “brand” names for us to work with; “9th Hole Energy Drink”, “SPORT Energy Drink”, and “Cool-Cola”. The objective was to merely give a taste of the idea to investors, so three different levels of design were suggested, from the complex to the very basic.

The names truly led the design, as each one suggested a definitive appearance or thematic design criteria.

Result: As this project was primarily for a design concept, and not necessarily something that needed to be 100% ready-for-production, we were able to create these mock-ups, to show the client virtual product samples.
